911 Operators of Reddit Answer the Question: What’s the Strangest Call They Took

Sometimes crazy 911 calls were never meant for 911 in the first place. My brother once accidentally called it as a toddler because he was pressing buttons at random. People who are dialing numbers that are similar to 911 might dial it on accident as well. Or, as in this case, it could be a malfunctioning phone that’s the problem.

I would just love to get to listen in on to that conversation: the operator is trying their hardest to figure out what the emergency is, and the kid on the other end is just convinced that it’s some kind of joke and keeps demanding to hear “I Want You Back” by ‘N Sync. That’s comedy right there.
