911 Operators of Reddit Answer the Question: What’s the Strangest Call They Took

Here’s another entry for the “People and Animals Minding their Own Business Is Not an Emergency” list. This person who called 911 was so worked up over the existence of pigeons that he felt comfortable wasting manpower and resources to make someone listen to him talk about said pigeons.

What did he think they were going to do, send an EMT over to shoo the pigeons away? Even if they sent animal control, all animal control would do would be to shoo the pigeons away. And here’s what this guy doesn’t seem to realize: he is perfectly capable of shooing the pigeons away himself.
