911 Operators of Reddit Answer the Question: What’s the Strangest Call They Took

Full disclosure: I’m not a dog person. (I’m not a cat person either; really, I’m just not big on pets in general). And there are few things that I find more disgusting than dog poop, especially when people let their dog poop all over the place and they don’t clean it up and throw it in the bin like the signs all ask them to do. So I can understand thinking that dog poop is a bit of an emergency.

But by “a bit of an emergency,” I mean “somebody, namely someone in this house, had better clean it up really quickly, because we’re the ones who bought this dog so his poop is our problem.” That is definitely not a 911 problem. Although I admit I am tempted to call the police when I see someone doesn’t clean up after their dog.
