#48: Hypothetically Speaking
So if you have a legal question—say, you’re curious about what happens if you report your boyfriend for possession of an illegal substance—what is the best way to get your question answered? Is it to consult a lawyer? Is it to get online and find one of those “Ask a Lawyer” websites? is it just to Google the question and hope for the best?

To be honest, I don’t know the right answer to this question. But what I do know for sure is that the wrong answer is to call 911 and phrase it as a “hypothetical question.” Because oh honey, I promise you, you are not fooling anyone with that hypothetical nonsense.
