#5: A Historical Footprint
The person who posted this interesting photo owns an 1890s townhome. They were sorting through some old bricks and other building materials around the house, which we imagine is somewhat common when you own such an old home. They were surprised when they stumbled across this brick with a few cat footprints embedded on the surface.
Someone’s cat from the late 19th century was walking around outside when they stuck their paws in some wet concrete or tar. It’s comforting to know that cats never change. This cat from over 100 years ago was walking around where he shouldn’t have been, and he didn’t care. Thankfully, this piece of building material forever preserved his daring attitude.
