#14: A Jaw-Dropping Discovery
Old houses aren’t for everyone. They require a lot of hard work and maintenance. However, there are homeowners out there who are passionate about preservation. This homeowner purchased an old house built around 1835. The house underwent many changes, including transitioning from a pub house to a residential home.
The house has had many lives, so there are a ton of hidden gems tucked away beneath old floors and strange renovations. This homeowner recently discovered this gorgeous tile floor that may have been installed in the 1870s when the house was converted into a pub. The design looks like a quilt pattern, which is very cool.
