#19: Roma Treasure
The Roman Empire was a huge territory that spanned centuries and miles. As a result, quite a few Roman coins still exist. It might come as a surprise, but many Roman coins aren’t super valuable because they are so commonplace from a historical perspective. However, finding some out in the wild would still be pretty cool.
Someone recently purchased a home in Alexandria, Egypt, and discovered these aged coins hiding somewhere inside. Some internet experts estimate that these coins date from around 250 CE, making them thousands of years old. They have oxidized because they are most likely made of copper, not gold. These might not be valuable, but they are still treasures.
