6. An Olympic Vet
Mexico’s Prince Hubertus of Hohenlohe-Langenburg has competed in six Winter Olympics in his lifetime, dating all the way back to 1984. In 2010 and 2014, Prince Hubertus was the sole representative of Mexico. He was the world’s oldest alpinist for the latter event, clocking in at 55 years of age.

Since it marked his last competition, Prince Hubertus went full-throttle in terms of his wardrobe. Kappa designed what looks like a Mariachi ski suit, custom-made for Prince Hubertus. It’s quite fetching. We hope he relished his final year competing as an alpine skier, and went off into retirement with contentment.
