24. It’s All in the Argyle
Norway’s curling team first made fashion waves at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. They all boasted matching red, white, and blue argyle pants. Besides being known for Vikings and fish, perhaps the men’s curling team wanted Norway to be recognized for something else. Like fashion! And loud clothing patterns!
Thankfully, the Norwegians earned silver in curling, so it wasn’t just their famous pants that made a statement. For us? We’d give them a Gold medal for the argyle pants and the effort. It takes an immense amount of moxie to sport something to garish. Loads of courage. They have guts, and not just of the fish variety.
