Olympics Costumes That Made a Statement

In 1992, Australia went to Barcelona for the Summer Olympics. It should be noted that the flag for the “Land Down Under” is red, blue, and white. However, the colors that represent Australia are gold and green. Now, disregard all of that, because the ’92 team did something a bit different.

You can’t find a stitch of the country’s actual colors on the above ensembles. Just a bunch of Panama Jack hats, floral button-down shirts, Bermuda shorts, and … dress shoes? Well, this was for the opening ceremony. That being said, these folks look like they’re on a safari trip.
