40. Lion, Meet Rabbit
Ghana’s own Akwasi Frimpong competed as a skeleton racer in the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. For those wondering what “skeleton” is, it’s a winter sliding sport wherein an athlete rides a small skeleton bobsled down a frozen track while lying face down/head first. Frimpong became Ghana’s first Olympic skeleton racer.

Anyway, the competitor sported a rather unique helmet. It was an artist’s rendering of a rabbit escaping from a lion’s jaws. According to Frimpong, it’s a metaphor for his life. We’re assuming he’s the rabbit in this metaphor. It’s quite striking and beautiful. Our hat (or helmet) is off to the artist who created the design.
