Olympics Costumes That Made a Statement

Japan’s Olympic team manages to surprise us every year, but undoubtedly, one of their most prominent years in the Olympics (in terms of fashion, that is) was 2004. For the event held in Athens, Greece, Japan’s team members were dresses coordinately in floral ensembles.

But that’s not all – they also had a matching accessory to go along with the outfit – colorful fans that matched their hats and the flowers on their traditional robes.
