Blow the Whistle
While some employees might not approve of the practices and rules of their managers, most of the time there’s nothing they can do about it, or they might risk losing their job. Standing up to management is hard, but sometimes, it’s necessary. Boy, are we glad to hear this person finally decided to step up and report their manager! Some people just shouldn’t be allowed to work in the food industry.
After putting up with some pretty shady and unsanitary practices, this employee decided enough was enough. There’s nothing wrong with being conscious about food costs, but to a certain degree. Selling your customers expired products and stale bread is not okay by any means.
