Fresh is the Key Word
It seems like fast-food restaurants love throwing around the word “fresh” in every advertisement, when their products are usually anything but fresh. Chicken is almost always advertised as fresh. However, people across the restaurant industry all agree that when chicken is marketed as fresh, it’s probably not. Many restaurants advertise their chicken as being fresh, while most of the time they use frozen chicekn.
Unless you are cooking chicken for yourself at home or eating at an extremely high-scale restaurant (and maybe not even then), you can assume that your chicken is not actually as fresh as it is advertised. There’s nothing wrong with frozen chicken per se, only it’s not fresh. Once again, false advertising is something all fast-food chains do.
