Gloves Off
Wearing gloves when preparing people’s food is common sense and a basic hygiene rule, right? You don’t have to be a fast-food employee to know that. However, this person admitted that they often touched the ingridients bare-handed, and to make matters worse, the employees weren’t encouraged to wash their hands frequently, as they should have.
It’s no big secrets that many cooks and employees at restaurants handle the food without gloves, but this isn’t even the worst part of this confession. The same employee told us that when you order “extra” ingredients in your Blizzard ice cream, you never get them. Penny-pinching is common even in Dairy Queen and ice cream parlors.
