That’s a Rip-Off
Some chains and restaurants will do whatever they can to save money at every possible turn. That’s just part of the business. One former employee at a fast-food chain claims their manager “skimmed” off of customer’s orders. That’s not really news – we’ve all ordered a burger in the past, only to get a sandwich with one lettuce leaf, one tiny slice of tomato, and one slice of onion.
Their boss would tell them to take off an inch for every bread size, put less meat than they were supposed to, fewer veggies, and even less sauce. The manager even went so far as to take off toppings after the meal was made if the customer paid with a coupon. For some reason, we aren’t really surprised.
