Working at a fast-food restaurant is no picnic, especially after reading all of these insider secrets. The pay isn’t great, the customers are often impatient and rude, and the environment is not the most welcoming. It’s no surprise, then, that some restaurants might be understaffed. That’s why they mostly hire teenagers or students who are unqualified for other jobs.
It’s not all bad, however: The good news are, according to this former employee, is that every fast-food chain is different than the next. One restaurant might be slow and dirty, while the other one, in a different district, is clean and efficient. It depends greatly on the staff and management.
