Butter Me Up
For many of us, the House of Pancakes is the go-to place for a late-night snack or an early breakfast. As it turns out, they don’t use real butter. Not only that, but they don’t even have any real butter in the building. Instead of using real, quality butter, the international chain uses a margarine blend – which is the cheaper option.
Pancakes and butter are inseparable, almost like movie and popcorn. Given this, you would think that the franchise that specializes in pancakes would have at least some butter in the building. Let’s be real, though – deep down we’ve always known that those major fast-food chains use cheap knock-ups, rather than real, quality products.
