“Fresh” Food May Not Be Actually Fresh
Many fast-food cahins advertise their food as “fresh”, while this isn’t always the case. In this case, this restaurant’s food is not even remotely fresh, according to former employees. One former employee said that all of the soups and mac ‘n cheese were frozen and heated up in the microwave pre-serving. Not even the bakery items were made in the store. Why are we not surprised?
The only thing the “bakers” do in the kitchen is put ready-made pastry items into the oven for heating. Even their proclaimed homemade lemonade is tap water and lemonade mix. The freshly squeezed orange juice is poured from a carton to a cup, and the green tea? Also, tap water and mix. Yet, this is not the most shocking confession on this list. We know most restaurants don’t prepare all the food, drinks, and pastries in the restaurant.
