Changed Expiration Dates
Some restaurants don’t only sell expired products, but they will actually change the expiration date on some of their products. According to this former employee, they have reportedly been instructed by their higher-ups to rub off the expiration date and add a later one so the products can be sold and consumed for longer.
This was of course to save money instead of having to purchase fresh products and throw out the old ones. Penny-pinching among fast-food restaurants is a common practice, unfortunately. If you choose to do it at home, that’s another thing, but at a restaurant, you expect to be served the best quality.
