Oil Instead of Water
Most of us have made brownies or cake at home and know that in most cakes, you put both water and oil (or butter). A former employee of an industrial cake and confectionery company said that all companies like his only use oil in their cakes and breads, instead of oil and water. When they’re supposed to use water, they use more oil instead.
Perhaps this makes the cakes even more delicious, but it certainly makes them less healthy. We’re not fooling ourselves, we know that cakes and other pastries ar enot too healthy either way. In this case, you might be better off to go to a local shop to get a better made, perhaps a bit healthier piece of cake. After all, you want to know what you’re putting into your body, right?
