Precooked Meat
There’s a right way to prepare steak and a wrong way. Steaks can be delicious, provided they are cooked properly – that’s something every steak lover would tell you. As it turns out, in some restaurants, the steaks are often cooked before a customer even orders them. A formed Outback Steakhouse employee informed us that the steaks would be prepared at the beginning of the shift and just microwaved when a customer ordered one.
If you can’t even get a freshly cooked steak at a steak house, I don’t where you can. They take pride in their steaks – they even put them in the name – so what’s going on here? The steaks aren’t the only thing that was prepared in advance and later reheated. We know they probably do it to save time and be more efficient, and yet, something about this just feels wrong.
