This is just a friendly reminder that a lot of people outside the US think our healthcare system is a hot mess. Frankly, it is. The United States has one of the most expensive healthcare systems in the world, but its citizens lead much unhealthier lives than their foreign counterparts.

A simple doctor’s visit for a sprained ankle cause someone to go into deep, deep debt. That’s why a lot of people avoid going to the doctor, even when it’s necessary.
