Complicated Measurements
The metric system? We don’t know her. The United States is famously one of three countries in the entire world that don’t use the metric system of measurement. Instead, we like to be special and use the old imperial system of measurement with inches, yards, miles, and gallons. How fun.
America’s inability to adopt the metric system makes no sense because it’s a very easy system to use. Everything is based on ten, and the rest of the world uses it. If we just adopted the metric system, we wouldn’t have to deal with pesky conversions. Once Myanmar and Liberia officially move over to the metric system, the US will be the only country still hanging on to imperial measurements.
