Bigger is Better
One thing that’s unique about America is our love of all things huge. Huge cars, giant houses, extra-large food portions– it’s wild. All of these super-sized materialistic things that we take for granted are considered very weird to people in other parts of the world. Take Europe, for example.
The food portions, cars, and living spaces in most European countries are way smaller than in the United States. If you think a European’s lifestyle is “weird” or “uncomfortable,” just know that they think the exact same way about our super-sized way of life. To each their own, but do we really need an extra-large serving of fries next time we go out to eat?
