These Extreme Weather Events Prove That We Have No Control Over Mother Nature

We have already discussed the absolutely devastating tsunami that hit Thailand and other parts of Southeast Asia the day after Christmas in 2004. While this event had an almost incalculable effect on the people who live in those countries, it also badly affected many foreign visitors who were spending their Christmas vacations somewhere warm and tropical.

This person was extremely fortunate to have survived the event, but it must have been a very difficult situation to live through, even for those who weren’t injured or killed. Much of the infrastructure in affected areas were damaged or destroyed, leaving people stranded with few ways to get home or even contact their loved ones.
