#25: No Glare, No Problem
Where are all our drivers with astigmatisms? This weird historical invention is for you. Someone invented this strange eye shield that was intended to reduce glare from car headlights. This product photo from 1936 looks so incredibly odd that it’s hard to believe such a product ever existed. Considering how bright modern LED headlights are, this invention may need to make a comeback.

This odd invention features a metal frame attached to a comfortable headband. There are two tiny amber-colored lenses attached to the metal frame that are supposed to reduce headlight glare for nighttime drivers. We have to admit that this thing looks more cumbersome than anything. That might be why people left it behind in the past.
