#36: Kidney Carrier
Organ transplants are a pretty serious business. Getting a new organ can mean the difference between life and death, and people often wait on organ donor lists for years before anything becomes available. In many cases, nothing ever does become available. So if you got the news that there was finally an organ available for you, I bet you would be pretty stoked.
And if you found out that there was a kidney available but that it became unusable due to negligence on the part of the hospital staff, I bet you would be furious. It could mean the difference between getting your life back or being stuck even longer with medical problems. It’s unfortunate that the person who made this egregious mistake doesn’t seem to have experienced any consequences.
