#34: Timezone Change
So if you’ve never used Outlook before, a really useful tool that they offer is that the software adjusts for your time zone. If you’re in Nevada but you’re invited to a remote meeting by someone in Indiana, the software will adjust how it displays the meeting for each attendee. It’s super useful so you don’t have to do the math in your head.
The trouble comes if you have your Outlook or your computer set to the wrong time zone. I can’t help but feel bad for the guy, but this is a very avoidable problem… unless he did it on purpose and it’s all a clever ploy to get out of a meeting he didn’t want to attend.
