#32: Always Check the Weather
The world of stories about people doing incompetent things in the workplace is vast. Unfortunately, those people are in positions of authority an alarmingly high percentage of the time. And when people with power start doing stupid things—well, there isn’t much hope for the rest of us.

It’s one thing to do something stupid when no one around you realized just how stupid it was going to be beforehand. It’s another thing to do something stupid when you have been specifically warned not to. I have to admit, I take a little bit of schadenfreude from picturing this guy returning to the place he insisted the fertilizer be dumped and realizing he’d made a terrible mistake.
