We’ve had an awful lot of stories on this list that come from people working in landscaping. I don’t know whether that’s because landscaping is a lot more complex than people realize or if landscaping just attracts a lot of people who aren’t all that bright. Either way, this guy’s coworkers learned the hard way that there’s a lot in the outdoors that wants to hurt you.

It does make you wonder, though: had these guys been properly educated on how to recognize poison ivy? That’s the only thing that I can think of that makes what they did anything but just really astonishingly stupid. If they knew what poison ivy looked like and just didn’t think it was a big deal, then they really are morons.
