#36: Spin Cycle
If you have a top-loading washing machine, you may wash your clothes all wrong without realizing it. It makes sense that you first dump your clothes in, then pour your laundry detergent around on top of the load and start the water. However, this isn’t the most effective way to wash your laundry.
That method doesn’t distribute your detergent as evenly as it should. The better way to distribute your soap would be to start the water first, then add the detergent to the load after it begins agitating the clothes. This method will ensure that your detergent hits every part of your laundry for a deep clean.
