#26: Ice, Ice Baby
It seems like common sense that if you need to cool down your drink bottles, you put them in a container of ice. You’ve seen it at every BBQ you’ve ever been to, the cooler full of ice and beverages. Heck, even fancy restaurants do it with a fancy wine bucket. And yet, this isn’t the quickest way to get a cool drink!
If you don’t have enough time to wait around for your drink to chill, plunge it into a bucket containing salt and ice water. That will lower the temperature faster than just a bucket of ice alone. You could also stick it into the freezer for a while, but remember to remove it after 15 or 20 minutes; soda will explode in the cold temperature!
