#22: Flying First Class, Circa 1960s
There’s no way to deny that flying is a completely different experience now than it was back in the 1960s. Heck, it’s different now than it was just a few decades ago! We all feel like a can of sardines whenever we cram ourselves into a flight. Even if you fly first class, it’s a little uncomfortable and very stressful. That just wasn’t the case for first class flyers in the 60s.
Look at this wholesome family living their best lives in 60s-era first class. They’re living large and the rest of us are crammed into business class like peasants. The 1960s really was the golden age of aviation. Sure, there was plenty of sexism and problematic practices, but just look at those spacious seats. These people aren’t even required to wear seatbelts!
