#29: Tinker the Robot, England, 1966
While it might seem like there has been a lot of talk of robots in the past few years, they have been around for much longer than we realize. In 1966, British inventor David Weston from Yorkshire introduced the robot Tinker. Tinker was the first of its kind as a house robot intended to do everyday household tasks. Tinker was a technological marvel, from washing cars to taking the baby in its stroller for a walk.
