Ah, to be young again. The world was your oyster and you felt invincible. That’s the exact feeling we get when we look at this retro photo from 1973. Someone snapped this photo at the Eastside Speedway in Waynesboro, Virginia on a Saturday night. There’s nothing better than hanging out with your friends on a weekend night with your new car.
These guys have their cars lined up along the track for some good old-fashioned dirt track racing. As we can see, each car has souped-up wheels and special paint. Sure, this was probably dangerous and more than a little dusty. But who cares when you’re young and free? We miss those days.
