#27: Just a Group of Old Ladies
Police had some pretty interesting methods back in the day. This photo from the 1960s shows a group of police officers dressed as old ladies as part of an operation to catch a purse thief. The purse snatcher must have had his eye on vulnerable old ladies, so this police department decided to get their hands dirty with this case. Hopefully, they were able to catch the perpetrator!
