#16: Halloween Was No Kid’s Business Back in the Day
Halloween is supposed to be scary, right? But it’s supposed to be scary in a way that you always know is within particular boundaries. You can get shocked or frightened by some sudden prank or other, but you’re not supposed to be genuinely terrified of the person in front of you.
Somehow, these two riders (and their horses) in the 1920s didn’t get the memo and dressed up in a fashion that I think is pretty objectively creepy. Of course, it’s also possible that these are just real-life Klan members who decided to swap their white cloaks for black, skeleton ones for a day.
