#19: Lightning Doesn’t Strike Twice?
It’s a rare occurrence to see lightning that so clearly displays the point at which it strikes; it’s even rarer to see the two sites of a forked lightning strike so close together and even rarer to see those two points on a flat, empty beach devoid of visible reasons to attract lightning.
I wonder if the reason for the lightning strike in this place is not above the sand but below. Maybe there’s some deeply sunken shipwreck or a group of old destroyed cars hidden under the sand that managed to attract the lightning. Or maybe it really is just plain random.
