#9: Not a Mythical Creature
The animal enthusiasts among you will definitely be familiar with this extraordinarily unique specimen. Still, those of you who haven’t spent hours huddled up in front of National Geographic might be more surprised to make its strange but delightful acquaintance. Otherwise known as the Unicorn of the Sea, this is a narwhal.
It may not look like it, but the narwhal is a whale. It has one long tooth on its head instead of a few inside its mouth. They’re said to be very friendly creatures, but I’m not sure I want to make friends with one anytime soon just in case I’m “accidentally” impaled.
