#25: Table for One, Please
If you are an introvert and can’t bear the prospect of eating surrounded by other people, here’s an alternative for you. You don’t need to find someone to join you for dinner because this pub has private booths where one person can dine alone, undisturbed by other diners.
In this age of ultra-individualism, these private dining alternatives are becoming increasingly common. This particular one is in Scotland, but they are fairly prevalent in Japan (I know this is basically a tribute article to Japan at this point). It’s a little strange, but don’t knock it until you try it.
