It’s pretty obvious which blanket is the original because it’s faded and well-loved. Our storyteller’s husband surprised them with a brand-new replica of the original blanket. The difference in color is flabbergasting!

The years of snuggling, washing, and sunlight have faded the original blanket into a ghost of itself. Our storyteller probably didn’t notice how faded their favorite blanket was until they compared it to the new one. The original blanket will go into storage and the new one will replace it for regular use. Let’s see what the next 25 years will do to this new Sailor Moon blanket!
