52 Worn-Out Items That Have Clearly Been Used to the Max

Thrifting is a great way to participate in sustainable fashion and keep old clothes out of landfills. This person scored an awesome pair of denim overalls in November 2020. The overalls were perfect for work, so they wore them almost every day for the next three years. This photo is a shocking “before and after” look at these overalls. 

The photo on the right is three years later, in April 2023. These overalls look like they went into battle and came out barely alive. Where in the world does this person work? They explained that they work as a line cook in a restaurant. Their job involves a lot of heavy lifting, cleaning grease, and taking out compost. No wonder these denim overalls look like they’ve been through the wringer.
