#10: An Artist’s Notebook
There’s nothing better than a fresh sketchbook full of empty pages. Each blank page is full of possibilities. This artist shared how their sketchbooks change over time as they use them. The one of the right is chock full of drawings, clippings, and other artwork. All of the pages are full, so it’s time for a new sketchbook.
You can see how a daily or weekly art practice can transform a simple blank sketchbook. Many people are afraid to set ink to paper for fear of “ruining” a nice sketchbook or journal. The completed sketchbook on the right looks way better than the blank one, in our opinion. Don’t be afraid to create and add things to a blank journal. That’s what they’re made for!
