A common motif in spy movies is having the spy climb and crawl through the air ventilation system of a building. We find it hard to believe that in real life people crawl inside vents in order to spy on others. Of course, those are just movies and they aren’t realistic, but they could put a little more effort to make it believable.

There are a lot of unrealistic motifs in spy movies, but this person finds the vents thing to be the most ridiculous one. More specifically, how the vents always seem so clean. In reality, vents are probably full of dust and filth, so much so, that crawling inside them is physically impossible.
