#30: Maybe in the Future…
Remember how twenty years ago people thought that in 2020 we’d all have self-driving cars? Self-driving cars exist today, but we’re still a long way from eliminating traffic lights and stop signs. It would be a few years before everyone starts using self-driving cars, and only then can we start reconsidering the need for traffic lights.

There are a lot of other things to consider as well like this person points out: can all self-driving cars coordinate their movement? We’d like to think that in ten years we’d all be using self-driving cars and there will be no stoplights, but who’s to say what the future has in store for us?
