#28: Blow the Candles
The past two years have left a big impact on our lives in small ways. For example, we all have different standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene. We wash our hands more often, we carry hand sanitizers with us, we cover our mouths when we sneeze or cough (although that last practice is something we should’ve done before, too).
Before, we also had this strange practice of having the birthday kid blow the candles on the cake. It seems so wild now how we all used to eat cake right after someone blew all over it, spreading their germs on our food. We never saw any problem with that. How the times have changed.
