#28: Learn to Sew
Forget about suing, and learn to sew. Revamping old clothes is an excellent way to reduce waste. You can make a brand new wardrobe from clothes you already own! Not only that, but repairing clothes that have torn or taking in or letting out clothes that no longer fit is a skill you can use for years.
It also allows you to donate clothes that may have seen better years. Patching jeans and shirts before donating can make all the difference when helping local families in need. Hundreds of thousands of pounds of material waste end up in landfills across the world, but with a bit of ingenuity, you can make sure you’re not adding to the burden.
