#2: Make Recycled Art
Turning trash into treasure is another way to showcase your eco-friendly stance, and it requires ultimate creativity. From old toys to tires, many artists worldwide find discarded materials and refurbish them into fantastic artwork. Old buttons can bring new life to any surface, and discarded metal scraps are perfect for sculptures in your garden!
So while you’re spring cleaning, keep an eye out for any materials that light your creativity bulb. One well-known Phillipino artist, Gilbert Angeles, had made it his mission to show the world that “trash art” is just as aesthetic as art made from new materials. He uses discarded plastic wrappers, outdated paint, and old construction supplies. Some of his pieces have sold for thousands of dollars!
