45 Designs That Tried to Be Creative But Turned Out Creepy Instead

Many people love owls. One look at this children’s book, and we’re not convinced. Imagine reading a delightful kid’s book about owls, only to turn the page and encounter these three guys staring up at you from the page. If this illustration is meant to be cute and touching, it’s not working.

We have to admit that this illustration is pretty accurate. There are some owls out there that actually look like this. Maybe owls are what we find creepy, not this illustration. Their eyes are too piercing to give us peace of mind. All three of these owls look like they’re judging us into oblivion.
